Day 14/180: Pen Pals, Pokemon, Sculpture, Swimming, and Lilypads

We have chanced upon the best pen pal ever, who replies immediately!  Thanks, Whitney, and Whitney's mom!  Jane's latest reply.

Then, playdate.  I had set up an invitation to create, a la The Artful Parent.  Sculpture time ensued.

After the playdate, swimming with the neighbors happened.  Also, Pokemon Go inspired Jane to start working on a stuffed Flareon.  She drew the design.

Errands, then she and her Dad checked out the contents of his $0.01 Spark Fun surprise, which turned out to be a LilyPad Arduino!  Sweet!

I see wearable electronics in our future!  That reminds me, I need to add some conductive thread to my Amazon cart.

We talked about the DNC, played some music, and read some books.  Then Jane stayed up reading after bedtime.
