Day 17/180: Girls Who Rocked the World, Spatial Intelligence, Drawing Flowers, Sew Awesome, and Deadly Poison

As soon as Jane got up, she was back to spatial intelligence building with Legos, finishing the habitat and food catapult that came with Merina the Water Dragon.  Then, with breakfast, I found out she had been up late reading Girls Who Rocked the World.

We discussed the chapters she had read, Joan of Arc, Elisabeth Vigee-Le Brun, Coco Chanel, Bessie Smith, Marian Anderson, and The Night Witches.

Then, more spatial intelligence building, and some thank you note writing and addressing

Next, was art, inspired by Lisa Congdon's Draw 500 Fabulous Flowers

We drew two from the book, and some extras.

By me

Then, I found a 31 day flower drawing challenge that I hope Jane will do with me.

Next, after lunch, building with SuperStructs, Sew Awesome at the Norristown Library, and choosing new books.  After supper, Muse magazine, ukulele, Little Women, and the next book in the Hitchhiker series.
Jane is very intrigued by this article in Muse, The Deadliest Poison on Earth (that people inject into their faces)
